The starless fjords- TIGERBLUSH

~HISTORY~

-Kithood 0-6 Moons
Tigerkit was born in a litter of only himself. This was perfect for his mother, because she pampered him to death as a kit and protected him for every second she could. His father was somewhat distant in his life, but he was not uncaring. He was certainly proud of what he had helped to create, and tried his best to show him affection when he could. His upbringing was rather peaceful, Tigerkit was a very obedient kit and never went against the word of his mother. Since he had no brothers or sister to bond or play with, he grew distressed and restless. He was a very social cat and needed to interact with some cats of his age. When he was made into an apprentice he felt like the day couldn't come soon enough. 

-Apprenticeship 6-14 Moons
Even though Tigerpaw became an apprentice early, it took him a little longer than some of the other cats to finish his apprenticeship. It was most likely because his mentor was strict and orderly, and often gave him harsh training to make sure he perfected every skill. His mentor was feathermist, and he tried his best to please her because he wanted her to be proud of him. Feathermist was extremely strict on Tigerpaw, because she wanted him to turn out to be the best warrior he could be. She saw great potential in him, and wanted to make sure every one of his skills were perfected. Even though she was strict, she was very caring towards him. Whenever he needed emotional comfort she was there, and she was soon seen as a second mother figure for Tigerpaw. His apprenticeship lasted longer than some of the other cats, but nonetheless, he feels like not a single moment was wasted.

-Warrior 14 Current Moons
It was finally time for Tigerpaw's training to come to an end as he will now be named Tigerblush, for his unique looks and also for his gentle personality. This was one of the best moments of his life, and his mother and mentor were both very proud of him. His father was proud too of course, but he was becoming less and less significant in his life. Things were going to change soon. . .

SICKNESS
Famine began to spread through the camps as the lake begins to dry up, following with it the deathly sickness that raged through the clans, claiming many lives. The future was looking gray for the cats.

luckily for Tigerblush, he was young and had a strong immune system. The sickness hadn't affected him, so he tried his best to help around camp. He was a victim of famine and exhaustion however, and this was taking a toll on his body.

His world would soon come crashing down when his mother got the sickness. He tried to remain hopeful, visiting the sick den every day even though he was ushered away by the medicine cat in fear of a young warrior getting ill. He wasn't afraid of catching the illness, he was afraid of losing his mother. And his worse fear came to life, when she died not long after she had fallen ill. Tigerblush fell into a state of despair when he had lost his mother. He had wanted her to see him grow up and become the best warrior he could be, but now she would never be able to see that.

Feathermist tried her best to comfort him through the following days, but their busy schedule allowed for only brief confrontations.

JOURNEY
It was now coming time for the clans to leave their world behind and find a new land to live in. Tigerblush was lucky to have Feathermist by his side for most of the journey. She had lost someone dear to her too, and they both found silent comfort in each others
Presence. The cats were picked off one by one from the journey, and Tigerblush almost didn't survive.

When he fell down a short cliff, some rubble fell on him pinning his legs down. Someone would have to go save him. Feathermist didn't hesitate to take the task, and was able to save Tigerblush, but not herself. She became a victim to the larger cliff below.

Tigerblush constantly lives with regrets of Feathermist's death. He feels like this was all his fault, and he should have done something to save her. The rest of the journey was extremely hard for him, but he prevailed. He sought comfort from the rest of his clan mates, and they didn't hesitate to offer it up to him. They had all lost fellow brothers, and they were all in this together.

DEPUTYSHIP
Tigerblush is wholeheartedly honored to be deputy of Windclan. He tries his hardest to make sure his clan mates feel secure and protected, and he definitely wants to make them proud in his own way. When he first found out he would be deputy, he was definitely flustered because he absolutely could not believe he was worthy of being the deputy of Windclan, but non surprisingly he accepted the position with honor. Afterwards he had an interesting confrontation with his father, which left him with an uneasy feeling about him . . .

Personality:
I took the '16 personality test' through Tigerblush's eyes and he got Protagonist ENFJ, and its pretty accurate to who he is!

+LOYAL
"I am honored to be a warrior of windclan."
Tigerblush will do anything for his clan in a heartbeat. He puts the goodwill of the clan before his own most of the time, and he will not hesitate to fight to the death for what he cares for. Anyone who gains his trust can expect to keep his trust for the rest of their lives, as long as they show respect towards him. 

+OBEDIENT
"Of course. I'll do it right away."
He holds a high respect towards upper ranks, and will take orders from them even if he doesn't fully agree with their decision. He is never one to disobey or try and test the rules. He believes that rules are in order for a reason, and that he should always respect them, unless they are seriously unfair. He is a good candidate for taking quick and urgent orders, because he will never stand to question them, he just does it. Sometimes this can be one of his downfalls, since he is so blind to taking orders. 

+CARING
"I hope you are doing well, if you need to talk I'm always here."
He has a very outgoing and caring disposition. If a clan mate seeks emotional comfort, he will always be there for them. Even though he is fiercely loyal to his clan, he can sympathize with the conflicts of outsider cats. He puts lots of trust in others even if they don't really deserve it, and he believes there is at least a little bit of good in everyone no matter how horrible they may seem. He believes that all some people need is some comfort and care and they will be able to do good things. 

>BASHFUL
"T-thank you . . . you flatter me."
He gets flustered somewhat easily and his face will flush more then it already is. He is sometimes poked fun at because of this. He gets especially bashful when he is complimented, because he really takes it to heart no matter how small of a compliment it is. When he says 'it means a lot' it really does mean a lot, and sometimes he wonders if people actually understand how appreciative he actually is. 

>GENTLE
"Relax, its going to be okay."
Overall he tries to be as gentle and sweet as he can, and overall approachable. He gets along really well with insecure cats because he is very gentle with his wording and never makes them feel like they are lesser than him, despite what others might say. He gets along exceptionally well with kits, because he is so patient with them. 

>SOCIAL
"You seem lonely, would you like to talk?"
He is very outgoing and can get along easily with almost any cat. He will judge based on how a cat treats his fellow clan mates, and not based on their history. He enjoys talking with all different kinds of cats, and has a paw in pretty much every social group. He is a good conversation starter and he is very patient and tries to make sure everyone's voice gets heard in a conversation. 

-EMOTIONAL
"This doesn't feel right . . . "
His judgment is sometimes clouded by emotions, and generally speaking his personal actions are influenced by how he feels. When he's dealing with a problem that isn't solely related to facts, he has a hard time using tactical measures to deal with this problem because he wants to accommodate people's emotions and make sure the least amount of people are hurt through his decision. He believes more in dealing with issues through the heart rather than through the mind. 

-SELFLESS
"No no, I won't eat until everyone else in the clan has."
Being selfless isn't exactly a bad thing, but too much of a good thing is a bad thing. He will often put the needs of others before his own, so much so that he will fail to care for himself when he really needs it. Whenever he has his own conflicts, instead of tying to solve them he feels like instead he should make someone else happy and he will be happy instead. Sometimes this works, but not all the time, and he has issues with asking others for help. 

-DRIFTER
" . . . I'm sorry, did you say something?"
Sometimes in conversations he will go on a tangent and drift off, thinking of something entirely different. He has been told this happens a lot, and he tries his best to combat this, but it still happens form time to time. Its almost scary when it happens, because he can go from being eccentric and lively to quiet and unresponsive in an instant. Some people thinks he's seen some things in his life. 

Likes: The sound of wind through trees, gentle rain, feathers
Dislikes: close minded cats, conflict, being alone in the darkness

WINDCLAN

Gingersplash- NPC
"We both tried out best, and I think it was worth it in the end. Gingersplash is a fine warrior, her future looks bright." His previous apprentice. He was given an apprentice only two moons after he became a warrior himself, because the clan was in a desperate time and needed some fitted warriors. Gingersplash was rather fidgety and nervous, but Tigerblush was extremely patient with the process and she turned out to be a fine warrior. He is very pleased with his job, and is rather close with Gingersplash.


Sunstream- NPC
"I wish my mother could be here to see me. All she ever wanted was for me to succeed. But now . . . " His deceased mother. His mother cared for him greatly, and never failed to show him affection or comfort when he needed it. The two were practically inseparable while Tigerblush was a kit. She died from sickness two moons after he became a warrior. 


Rowanflame- NPC
"I wish I knew my own father better. I feel distanced from him, it doesn't feel right. We look different, we act different, are we even kin?" His father. He is not on bad terms with him, but he isn't exactly close with him. If he needs advice or someone to quickly chat with, his father won't mind being there for him. Otherwise, his father is a very close minded person, and tends to shut out the rest of the world. 


Feathermist- NPC
"She's given me so much, comfort, companionship, training . . . and yet, I've failed her. Her death is all my fault . . . " His deceased mentor. She was a very strict, but caring, cat. She was like a second mother to him, and was fiercely proud of Tigerblush's advancements as a warrior. She died trying to save him from a cliff edge while on the journey. 


Morningstar- aerioi
"I respect Morningstar as my leader. I find aspects in him that I lack, and I can only hope I can become better for both him and Windclan. As long as Morningstar leads us forwards, Windclan's future is a bright one." Leader of windclan. Naturally, he respects Morningstar and looks up to him as a role model. He seriously admires how level headed he is, and tries his best to follow in his footsteps and base his own actions less on emotions and more on logic. He is trying his best to get better, but there will always be a soft spot in him. 


Tallstride- Closet-Furry
"I am not particularly close to her, but she is a fine medicine cat. I respect her for helping the clan through its sickness. I have a feeling that the deaths of our clan mates hurt our medicine cats more then it hurts us, and for this reason I respect them." Medicine cat of Windclan. Tigerblush doesn't really know her on a personal level, but he tries to toss his help her way when he can. He holds medicine cats on a high pedestal, and he highly respects them. He is really fascinated by the fact that they are so close to Starclan, and have a wide knowledge of herbs. As an apprentice he sometimes thought about what it would be like to be a medicine cat, but through his training he realized he has the heart of a warrior. 


Elkear- aerobic
"Elkear is a great friend, I never feel lonely in his company. I can always find comfort in his presence." A good buddy of his, they get along pretty well. Their personalities compliment each other, and they tend to bring out the best in the other. Tigerblush helps Elkear to find his calmer side, and in turn Elk helps Tiger to relax more and live a little without worrying so much about structure. Since they are both drifters, they've found a way to just appreciate each other's silent company, though this probably looks weird to other cats. 


Wolfsong- PalletEclipse
"I respect Wolfsong both as a friend and as a role model. He is strong and loyal, and always does his best for the clan. I really hope I can serve Windclan as good as he does." A friend of his. Tiger sees Wolf as a strong, dedicated warrior, and he seriously looks up to him. He admires his strength as well as his influential voice. Tigerblush notices how hard Wolf is on himself when he makes mistakes, and when he's distancing himself over his failures he tries his best to comfort him and bring him back, but he also knows when it is time for him to keep a respectable distance.

Bristlestar- Spockirkcoy
"Bristlestar is pretty intimidating . . . I've never seen a cat as big as him. I really hope our paths don't cross in a bad way." No special interaction yet, but in other words, Tigerblush thinks this cat is a beast and will definitely steer clear of ever trying to cross his path. He somewhat admires his size, but otherwise, he doesn't know anything about him personally.

Roleplay Sample
The air was chilled and cool, his breath billowing out into the night air. A quiet serenity blanketed itself over the landscape, a gentle breeze rustled through the long grass. The tom gazed out into the open field, with Silverpelt shining down on him from above. He shut his eyes tightly and drew in a shaky breath. 

His mother would be among those stars tonight. The sickness had finally overtaken her, and just like that, she was gone. Tigerblush had been the only one there to witness her last moments, as she struggled to keep a grasp on the world. Her last words floated around in his mind, repeating itself over and over and over . . . 

'I love you so so much, my dear, I'm so proud of you . . . "

He felt a chill go along his spine as he recalled it. Her raspy, breathless voice had stopped shaking for a few moments so she could speak. Her voice trailed off slowly, as she drew her last breath, and shut her eyes for the last time. But like there was something more she wanted to say, like she was going against the clock and didn't have enough time to tell him just one more thing. He shook the thought away, flicking his tail and turning around to go back to camp.

He could mourn later, there was still a lot to do in the morning. He needed to rest, but sleep would not come easy for him that night
